The biennial Auto Shanghai (colloquially known as the Shanghai Motor Show) is the final event of the 2014 – 2015 auto show season. Once little more than a minor regional show, it has become increasingly important in recent years because Chinese buyers’ appetite for new cars (especially the flashy, expensive and luxurious kind) keeps growing exponentially.
This year, Mercedes will show a thinly-veiled concept that previews its upcoming BMW X4-fighting crossover, Volvo will showcase the most luxurious car it has ever built in its 88-year history and Audi will provide us with a preview of what its next-gen allroad wagon will look like.
