The adventurous drivers who love to drag their vehicles along the unusual tracks aren’t impressed very easily. But Mercedes is all committed to impress them no matter what, that’s why the German automobile manufacturer has unleashed an off-road monster which will prove to be a great friend of badass off-road drivers. The Geneva Motor Show 2015 features all the good items including the new born Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4, which is a smarter version of Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6.

The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 was basically developed for military purposes, but it really impressed the civil population as well, resulting in a sale of 100 units of this hardcore performer. These figures intrigued Mercedes to go for more and experiment something new with this vehicle. So the new concept of Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4 came into existence, specifically to impress the sophistication of European clientele.

The G500 4×4 is smarter than its predecessor minus one axle. Under the hood, the AMG’s twin-turbo 5.5-litre V8 engine has been replaced by a new, twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8, throwing out 422 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. This smart giant with a break over point of 47 and departure of 54, has an approach angle of 53 degrees and can dive in the waters up to 39 inches.

The Mercedes G500 4×4 rests on 22-inch wheels with 325/55-series tires which can also be replaced by a set of 18-inch wheels on 37-inch beadlock tires. Shinning in the lime green colour, this off-road monster can touch the heart of any badass, but Geneva Motor Show features it in silver cover.
