The 5th edition of Qatar Motor Show started up amid great fervour and zeal, as automobile makers from all over the world gathered to flaunt their supreme creations. Held under the backing of HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, the Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior, this huge car festival continued from 5th Feb 2015 to 10th Feb 2015.

Getting into details, the 5th Qatar International Motor Show was inaugurated by HE Jassim Saif Ahmed al- Sulaiti, Minister of Transport, along with Issa bin Mohammed al- Mohannadi, chairman of Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) at the Qatar National Convention Centre on Thursday. First day of the exhibition was reserved for the VIPs and media persons. The media persons had a lot of opportunity to interact with the exhibitors and share details of their latest models and upcoming technologies.

With the participation of top-notch automotive brands from all over the globe, the Qatar International Motor Show proved to be an extravaganza for both media people and locals from Qatar and neighbouring countries. Some of the notable automobile giants which showcased their products include Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Chevrolet, Honda and Suzuki. The show included all types of vehicles like sports cars, luxury cars, coupes, SUVs, offroaders and family vehicles. Surprisingly, motorcycles were also on display to satisfy the needs of bike loving clientele.

Volkswagen Golf GTI Vision Gran Turismo Concept successfully stole the show, as it is produced solely for racing stimulator Gran Turismo 6. Volkswagen also brought another eye candy Golf R400 which gained equal appreciation and fervour.

Along with these, other mesmerising automotive monsters displayed at the show were third-generation Audi TT, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, 2015 Audi Q7, the BMW 2-Series Cabriolet, a silver Bentley Continental GT Speed and a blood red Bentley Mulsanne.
