Toyota TRD kits are now available in the UAE

Launched at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, TRD kits are available for Toyota Aurion, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Yaris- Hatchback, Toyota Yaris – Sedan and the iconic Toyota 86.

TRD is an additional performance kit or packages that you can have it installed in-house at one of Toyota’s Authorized dealers in the UAE. TRD is responsible for both improving street cars for more performance and supporting Toyota’s racing interests around the world.

With its sharper designs and improved downforce combined with aerodynamics which offers Toyota cars with better stability and performance, such as improved straight line and cornering stability.

TRD are offered in two packs, one is the aerodynamic and the second one is the sports pack. The aerodynamic TRD kit includes front and rear bumper spoilers and side skirts in an addition to rear spoiler which are available on the Toyota 86, the all-new Toyota Yaris Hatchback, Toyota Yaris Sedan, Toyota Corolla except for the Aurion, which already comes standard with a body kit. However the sport pack goes a step further adding performance wheels with low profile tyres, sport oil filter and lowered springs amongst other modifications.

TRD started back in 1954 as Toyopet Seibi Co., and it was not just a product but well-engineered and built with performance in mind. TRD products breakthrough in the aftermarket parts distributor in 1976.

The TRD launch announced right after Al-Futtaim Motors’ partnership with Yas Marina Circuit for the launch of the TRD 86 Cup, a single-make race series that offers a cost-effective entry into circuit racing, with an entry price of Dhs 150,000 which includes your own race ready TRD 86 Cup car which is built using the best high performance parts from Toyota Motorsports. TRD packs will be available at Al-Futtaim Motors Toyota showrooms across the UAE starting November 2014, in special TRD displays. All TRD parts come with a 5-year warranty. While elements of each pack can be purchased separately, the complete aerodynamic and sport packs will be available at promotional prices.
