Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has announced new specifics about the 2015 Dodge Charger lineup, including pricing and details about the Charger SRT Hellcat.

The much talked-about muscle sedan from the underworld with the 707-horsepower 6.2L V8 shared with the Challenger Hellcat will go on sale with a sticker of $63,995. That’s more than double the price of the base 2015 Charger SE, which rings in at 27,995, but still makes it easily the best power-to-dollar ratio available on a sedan today. It’s also got the best mph-to-dollar ratio, with a terminal velocity of 328 kmph.

In addition, the Hellcat will share some cosmetic features with the 485-horsepower Charger SRT 392, including six-pot Brembo front brake calipers, which it’ll need to slow the roll of Slingshot 20-inch forged alloys 9.5 inches wide and wrapped in Pirelli P-zero 275/40ZR20 tires. Adaptive suspension can set the stiffness in three modes, and one of the optional wheel colors is called Brass Monkey.

All of these features are shared with the $47,385 Charger SRT 392, powered by the same 6.4L 495-horsepower V8 found in the $39,995 Charger R/T Scat Pack.

All 2015 Chargers receive new threads in the styling department. Interiors gain a three-spoke steering wheel and standard 7-inch touch screen interface (8.4-inch optional). Safety nannies like adaptive cruise control, forward full-speed collision warning, lane keeping assistance and dynamic 911 dialing are also on the menu. Sheetmetal-wise, a slimmer grille and LED lighting both front and rear have finally given Dodge the excuse it needs to jettison the crosshair grille that defined the brand and pre-Ram brand Rams.

The 2015 Chargers will being rolling out of Ontario before the end of the year, with Hellcat production slated to begin in early 2015.
