The 2015 Honda Accord was launched yesterday in the Middle East at a press conference here in Dubai with a tag line Accelerate.

So what is new in the 2015 Honda Accord?

Well at start it looks different from the 2014 model, the changes can be noted on to the front grill with some cosmetic changes whereas the rear of the new Accord has received some styling upgrade. The was slight changes within the interior of the new 2015 Accord, while Honda claims the new cabin is quieter than the previous model.

What was so interesting is the increase of horse power from 173 hp to 185 hp which means more power and more torque (245 Nm torque).  The new 4-cylinder 2.4-litre engine now gets direct injection, mated to a CVT automatic.

Honda claims that the new 4-cylinder engine is now 7% more fuel efficient than the previous model. The 276 hp 3.5-litre V6 engine remains the same.

Other new features that we noted was hill-start assist and electric parking brake for all trims.

So the down side that I personally did not like as much, is that all cars are made in China, of course everything now is made in china.  And if you are planning to get one this year beige is currently the only color option for the interior.

The 2015 Honda Accord should be available soon in showrooms in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries.

We would love to hear you feedback and comment on this.
