The Ineos Grenadier is scheduled to make its way to the United States and Canada during the initial quarter of 2024. The starting price in the US will be $71,500 (the exact amount for the destination fee has not been disclosed). Those interested in the Trialmaster and Fieldmaster editions will be priced at $79,190. The company will begin accepting pre-orders and unveil the online configurator on May 31 to facilitate the ordering process. While not sure when the new Ineos Grenadier must be available through Adam Motors in the UAE.
Within the borders of the United States, the Grenadier is furnished solely with the BMW-crafted B58 turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six engine, which generates an output of 281 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. When it comes to selecting a gearbox, the only available option is an eight-speed automatic transmission coupled with a two-speed transfer case. The vehicle’s drivetrain is comprised of constant four-wheel drive, and it gracefully traverses various terrains thanks to its box-section, ladder-frame chassis.
The basic package offers front parking assistance, mirrors with a heating function, windshield washer jets with heating capability, and illuminating lights on the ground.
For those individuals with a passion for rugged off-road adventures, the Trialmaster Edition is specifically designed. It includes a raised air intake, a 400-watt power take-off, an additional battery, and an auxiliary switch panel with electrical preparation, all as part of the standard features.
The Fieldmaster Edition caters to easier off-road adventures. It includes a collection of 18-inch wheels featuring secure lug nuts, safari windows, comfortable black leather seats, heated front chairs, plush carpet floor mats, and an upgraded stereo system.
For enhanced ruggedness, the Rough Pack introduces front and rear differential locks along with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tyres. The price for this package is $2,850, which applies to both the base model and the Fieldmaster Edition. These additions come as standard features in the Trialmaster Edition.
Customers have a range of options when it comes to selecting exterior colours, with a total of 10 choices available. One of these options, Scottish White, does not incur any additional cost. For colours such as Magic Mushroom, Eldoret Blue, Britannia Blue, Sela Green, and Inky Black, there is a charge of $580. Alternatively, Sterling Silver, Shale Blue, Queen’s Red, and Donny Grey are priced at $795. If buyers desire a contrasting roof in Scottish White or Inky Black, the cost would be $1,280.
Moving to the interior, customers can choose between Black or two-tone Grey and Black leather, priced at $2,000. Additionally, there is an option to have heated front seats for an extra $535. The Grenadier comes equipped with heavy-duty utility flooring featuring drain valves as standard. However, customers can opt to include carpeting for an additional $285, and floor mats can be purchased separately for $250. For those interested, an altimeter and compass can be added for $315, while a stereo upgrade is available for $700.
The Grenadier is set to provide a comprehensive warranty covering five years or 60,000 miles. Additionally, there will be separate warranties for paint (three years), accessories (three years), and anti-perforation (12 years) for the chassis and body.
Ineos aims to assist Grenadier owners in their maintenance efforts. To facilitate this, the company will provide online manuals with interactive 3D features, and customers can reach out to a technical team located at the brand’s headquarters. In their pricing announcement, the automaker emphasizes that the vehicle has been intentionally designed and engineered for ease of maintenance, both internally and externally.
