Türkiye’nin Otomobili Girişim Grubu, or TOGG, has inaugurated its development factory in an impressive ceremony. Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan unveiled the brand’s first C-segment utility vehicle. It is not a production car, but we believe not much would change before development starts.

Unfortunately, the automaker did not reveal the name of the SUV, but they told us some key information. The EV SUV will be available in a single- and dual-motor setup and two battery capacities offering around 186 miles (300 kilometers) and 311 miles (500 km) of drive range, depending on the battery.

The pricing is also a mystery, but we know that the pre-sale will start in February 2023, and it will hit the roads in March. TOGG plans to develop around 18,000 vehicles every year and ramp up the production to 1 million units by the end of 2030.

Surprisingly, the Turkish EV maker will not sell its vehicles at dealerships; instead, they plan to adopt an online selling approach. Customers will be able to order through TOGG Care app. After the launch of SUV, a C-segment sedan will arrive by 2025. There will also be a C-X Coupe with a predicted launch in 2026. Moreover, an inexpensive B-SUV is slated for 2027.
