The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB was introduced to the whole world late last year. The luxury electric three-row SUV will hit the dealerships this summer and we now have its pricing details for the U.S. markets. Mercedes says the EQB price will start at $54,500, which is close to what we expected before. This price does not include the $1,050 destination charge. With this included, the price will start at $55,550.

Trim Levels & Powertrain

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB will be accessible in two models, 300 4Matic and 350 4Matic each having three flavours – Basic, Exclusive, and Pinnacle. The entry-level 300 4Matic features two motors powering all the wheels, with a total output of 225 horsepower (167 kilowatts) and 288 pound-feet (390 newton-meters) of torque. The regular features include a digital cockpit with two 10.25-inch displays, a wide range of driver-assist systems, navigation, and MBUX infotainment system.

The EQB 300 Exclusive is just $1,250 more expensive than the Base and comes with some extra niceties. We are talking about Keyless-Go package, inductive wireless charging, and a better stereo system. The EQB Pinnacle adds $3,800 to the base price and contains everything we get in the Exclusive and more. A panoramic roof, surround-view camera, and the high-class Burmester sound system are standard for this trim level.

If the EQB 300 is not enough in terms of power delivery, buyers have the choice of EQB 350 4Matic. It also boasts a dual-motor, all-wheel drive setup but here the powertrain generates 288 hp (215 kW) and 384 lb-ft (521 Nm) of torque.

Range

The automaker did not reveal the range estimates for the U.S. versions. However, we know the EQB 300 delivers 260 miles (419 km) on the Euro-specific WLTP cycle. Since the EPA range is not that generous, we expect the base variant to deliver approximately 230 miles of range. Mercedes offers up to 100 kWh maximum DC charging for the EQB.
