Mini is not new to limited-edition models – the brand has been introducing such models since the mid-70s. The new entry in this regard is the 2022 Mini Brick Lane Edition, which takes inspiration from Brick Lane Street in London – popular for its street art.

The Brick Lane Edition comes sporting White Silver Metallic paint with a Soul Blue roof, black mirror caps, and chrome trim. The hood is adorned with a brick-pattern drawing that we can also see on the door sills. Other additions comprise C-pillar signs, a panoramic sunroof, 17-inch gloss black alloy wheels, and Brick Lane symbols.

The interior facilities include Carbon Black Cross Punch leather seats, a heated steering wheel, piano black trims, the Harman/Kardon premium sound system in addition to dual-zone automatic climate control.

The Brick Lane Edition is built on the Cooper S, so it uses its powerplant, which is a 2.0-litre, TwinPower Turbo mill pumping out 189 horsepower (141 kilowatts) and 207 pound-feet (280 Newton-meters) of torque. The engine mates to a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Mini offers the Brick Lane Edition in three-door and five-door body configurations.

The automaker has started taking orders with prices starting at $35,675 for the three-door and $36,675 for the five-door (excluding the $850 destination fee). Mini will make available 125 units (3-door model) for the US markets with deliveries expected in mid-March 2022.

Mini didn’t announce this special edition for the UAE market yet.
