BMW has traveled to a luxury trade show in Saudi Arabia to unveil a limited-edition version of its range-topping 7-Series called BMW 760Li M Bi-Turbo.

The M Bi-Turbo stands out from a standard BMW 760Li thanks to unique 19- or 20-inch M Sport alloy wheels and three eye-catching colors that are not available on the regular-production model including Imola Red and Monte Carlo Blue. The finishing touch is a set of M badges on the trunk lid and on the fenders, marking a first in the 7’s illustrious history.

The BMW 760Li M Bi-Turbo’s interior is fully upholstered in beige Oyster Nappa leather and buyers can choose between orange, blue, red or black stitching. V12 emblems stitched into the headrests and Piano Black wood trim round out the interior upgrades.

The M badges are misleading because BMW has not made the slightest modification under the hood. The limited-edition BMW 760Li is powered by a stock 6.0-liter V12 engine that sends 544 horsepower and 553 lb-ft. of torque to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The big sedan can sprint from zero to 100 kmph in 4.6 seconds.

The limited-edition BMW 760Li will only be sold in select Middle Eastern countries. BMW has not announced how many examples it plans on building or how much each will cost.

No M7

BMW enthusiasts – and, occasionally, executives – have long clamored for a full M-tuned 7-Series but the company has never expressed an interest in taking on Audi and Mercedes-Benz on the full-size super-sedan segment. However, famed tuner Alpina offers a performance-focused variant of the 7-Series dubbed B7 that is rated at 540 horsepower and 538 lb-ft. of torque.
