2022 Cayenne Platinum Edition Augments The Posh SUVs Styling

Porsche is working to refresh the Cayenne SUV for the 2023 model year, but before that, the automaker is preparing an exclusive version of the ongoing model. The company named it the 2022 Cayenne Platinum Edition, and it will be available in select markets, including America.

The Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition is not the first of its kind. Before it, the automaker introduced the Panamera Platinum Edition. The SUV features unique accents and extra standard facilities that make it stand out in the range.

Exterior

Starting with the exterior design, we can see the Satin Platinum paint on the intakes, the rear Porsche logotype incorporated into the LED taillight, and the emblems. The 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels also employ Satin Platinum hue and are unique to this variant. Other changes comprise black tailpipes and high-gloss black window trim.

Porsche offers the 2022 Cayenne Platinum Edition in the pure white or black shade as well as in metallic shades like Jet Black, Carrara White, Mahogany, Moonlight Blue. There is also a unique hue named Chalk.

Interior

Hop in, and you will find Chalk seat belts and door sill guards with aluminum touches. Moreover, we can find texture aluminum on cabin decorations, and crests on the front and rear headrests are standard.

Expect all the 2022 Cayenne Platinum Editions to encompass the LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System, a Panoramic Roof, Bose Surround Sound system, ambient lighting, and 8-way adjustable sport seats.

Customers can order Platinum Edition for the Cayenne, Cayenne E-Hybrid, and Cayenne S, in addition to the relating Coupe variants of the Porsche SUV.

Price

The minimum amount to own the base Cayenne is $79,000, while the Cayenne Coupe goes for $83,300. Similarly, the Cayenne S costs $93,400, and the Cayenne S Coupe goes for $95,600. The most expensive lineup is the Cayenne E-Hybrid which starts at $92,700 and $93,800 for the Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe. These prices do not include the $1,350 delivery and handling charges.

The order book for the 2022 Cayenne Platinum Edition is open. You can order one right now and get the deliveries in summer if you are in the U.S. We do not know yet whether Porsche UAE will offer it here or not.

In the UAE, Porsche offers the Cayenne in 6 trim levels: Base, E-Hybrid, S, GTS, Turbo, and Turbo S E-Hybrid. The base variant starts at AED 329,400, the E-Hybrid goes for AED 395,100, the S demands AED 400,000, the GTS costs 466,100, the Turbo is priced from AED 577,600, and the range-topper Turbo S E-Hybrid set you back a whopping AED 700,700.
