The zero-emission Ioniq 5 was introduced for the global markets in February 2021. It came later in May for the North American markets, and now it is about to hit the dealerships. While most of the details are already revealed, we didn’t know the pricing information for the U.S. market. The South Korean automaker has announced it now.

The customers in America will be able to get their hands on the 2022 Ioniq 5 by paying a minimum of $40,295 (including a $1,225 destination fee). For this price, you will have the single-motor SE Standard Range model featuring a 58 kWh battery bundle. If you have followed the news previously, it was not on the cards for North America, but it is good to have it for customers with a lower budget.

The SE Standard Range is capable of creating 168 horsepower (125 kilowatts), sending power to the rear wheels and delivering an EPA-rated range of 220 miles with a full charge. People who can benefit from the $7,500 federal tax credit should know that the minimum they will pay for the Ioniq 5 is $33,425.

Moving forward towards the most powerful Ioniq 5 Limited AWD, it comes with a larger 78 kWh battery powering two motors (one on front and the other at the back), yielding 320 hp (239 kW). EPA has rated it at 256 miles per charge and starts at $55,725.

Below you will find all the available Ioniq 5 models in the U.S., their horsepower rating, and pricing.

While different Ioniq 5 models can produce different power outputs, all of them come with 800-volt, 350-kilowatt fast-charging capability. It allows the car to recharge itself from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 18 minutes.

What makes the 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 more desirable for customers is indefinite 30-minute charging sessions via Electrify America for the first 24 months of possession. The all-electric Hyundai comes with a wide range of driver-assist and safety systems that make it a very safe car to drive.

The 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 should arrive at the U.S. dealerships before the end of this year. However, the SE Standard Range trims will not be here until spring of next year.

The price of Ioniq 5 in the UAE is not yet revealed. Stay tuned for updates!
