The first production Rivian R1T has rolled off the automaker’s facility in Normal after so many delays.
After months of building pre-production vehicles, this morning our first customer vehicle drove off our production line in Normal! Our team's collective efforts have made this moment possible. Can't wait to get these into the hands of our customers! pic.twitter.com/8ZidwTaXRI

What we know from RivianForums.com, the Rivian’s CEO RJ Scaringe went behind the wheels to drive the electric pickup truck off the assembly line in Normal, Illinois, with workers all around.
While the details of how many trucks have been made are scarce, it seems the automaker has reached the point where it can start the customer deliveries.
It is important to note that Rivian delayed the launch many times before but this month they seemed more committed to the task.
We anticipate getting the official details of the Rivian R1T launch soon and know more about customer deliveries.
Of note, EPA has released its official ratings for Rivian vehicles. The R1T will have over 300 miles of range between charges.
