After introducing the new Bentayga and Bentayga Speed, Bentley has unveiled the fourth variant in the lineup. Meet the 2021 Bentley Bentayga S, another sportier variant that offers dynamic performance.
The highlight of the S variant is the Bentley Dynamic Ride system using a 48-volt system. The active anti-roll tech turns on in only 0.3 seconds to deliver 959 pound-feet (1,300 Newton-meters) of torque to tackle the lateral rolling forces while cornering.
Bentley has also introduced an updated Sport driving mode for boosted steering feel, a more responsive throttle, and up to 15 per cent stronger suspension.
The automaker didn’t meddle with the powerplant. It houses a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 good for 542 horsepower (404 kilowatts) and 568 pound-feet (770 Newton-meters) of torque. It completes the 0-60 miles per hour (0-96 kilometres per hour) run in 4.4 seconds and maxes out at 180 mph (290 kph).
The new Bentley Bentayga S comes with some visual updates that help us to spot it in the lineup. It boasts black door mirrors, black-painted side sills, tinted headlights, and taillights.
The pricing details aren’t out yet. However, interested customers can book the luxury crossover and configure it online.
