Kia has revealed the official specifications of its all-electric car, the EV6 for the U.S. markets. The South Korean automaker will offer it with two battery packs, one- and two-motor setups, and a range of power outputs. The power figures range from 167 horsepower for the base model and can be as high as 576 horsepower for the GT model.

The entry-level Kia EV6 will feature a single electric motor powering the rear wheels and a 58.0-kWh battery pack. The rear-wheel-drive model boasting a 77.4-kWh battery pack would provide the longest range of up to 300 miles.

The dual-motor, all-wheel-drive with a bigger battery pack would create 313 horsepower. The automaker says it can zoom to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds. The GT model with a 77.4-kWh battery is Kia’s most powerful creation offering up to 576 hp with 0 to 60 mph acceleration time of below 3.5 seconds.

The 2022 Kia EV6 is capable of using DC fast-chargers at up to 350 kilowatts. It should enable the zero-emission car to add 70 miles of range in 5 minutes and receive 10 to 80 percent charge in 18 minutes.

Kia also plans to offer the EV6 First Edition model in three color combos: white with a green interior, yellow with a black interior, and matte grey with a black interior. Limited to just 1500 examples, its order books will open on June 3. It is a fully loaded all-wheel-drive model with the biggest battery pack.

The 2022 Kia EV6 will come with an approximately $45,000 price tag earlier next year, the GT will cost around $55,000. Kia didn’t reveal their plans to launch the EV6 in the UAE yet.
