2022 Honda Civic Breaks Cover with New Looks, Improved Fuel Economy

The 2022 Honda Civic officially breaks cover with attention to functionality and ease. The 11th generation Civic sedan comes with a “Man-Maximum, Machine-Minimum” design philosophy.

Exterior

The designers have taken into account previous design concepts to create the new Civic. We can see the general design is more angular than the earlier versions. Engine

There are two engine choices. The LX and Sport models are powered by the old naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder mill yielding 158 horsepower (118 kilowatts) and 138 pound-feet (187 Newton-meters) of torque. The engine sends power to the front wheels through Continuously Variable Transmission.

The EX and Touring would use a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 180 hp (134 kW) and 177 lb-ft (240 Nm). It is 6 hp (4.5 kW) and 15 lb-ft (20 Nm) extra than the 10^th-gen Civic. Honda has made changes to turbo plumbing and VTEC to improve the power. The turbo, too, mates to CVT.

Safety

Talking about the safety of passengers inside the 2022 Honda Civic, the engineers have fitted the updated Honda Sensing safety suite that uses just one camera and eight sonar sensors.
