The luxury wing of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, Voyah has introduced an electric SUV concept at the Beijing Auto Show. Named Voyah iFree, this is the second concept from the automaker, which will go into production sometime next year. For production, the designers might have to tone down the over-exaggerated styling a bit.

The Voyah iFree is built on a dedicated EV platform created by Dongfeng and its associates, intending to offer “anxiety-free, highly intelligent service.”

The iFree SUV concept is clearly not an imitator; it has a distinct styling enthused by the Kun Peng, a legendary Chinese bird. The big logo covering the whole width of the front fascia signifies the Peng’s open wings. The side profile is beefy with noticeable wheel arches.

Sadly, we do not know anything about the mechanicals except it is built on the EAAS platform (Electric, Smart, and Secure Architecture). The new platform is purpose-built to house Dongfeng’s next-gen electric powertrains.
