Kia teased the 2021 Carnival (known as Sedona in America) three weeks ago giving us some information on the important updates. And now the automaker has teased its interior image, which shows extensive changes inside.

The fourth-generation 2021 Carnival features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster connected by a touchscreen infotainment system of the same size. Boasting a wraparound dashboard, it has touch-sensitive controls at the lower center console.

Kia has switched the heavy gear lever with a smoother rotary knob employing shift-by-wire technology. The image also gives us an impression of full-width air vent.

The 2021 Carnival will be accessible in seven, nine, and eleven seat configurations in three or four rows. The most famous seven-seat configuration comes with reclining captain’s chair with alterable armrests, backrests, and legrests for second-row occupants.

Kia has improved the wheelbase by 1.18 inches and the body is now 0.4 inches wider than the previous generation, offering occupants more space inside. The engineers worked to enlarge the length by 1.57 inches to create more room for the third-row seats and extend the cargo space.

Kia did not reveal details on the powertrain yet. The new Carnival will arrive in its home market in the third quarter of this year. Its launch in the UAE is expected in the fourth quarter.
