The 2021 Toyota Sienna is here with a bold look, standard hybrid powertrain, and available all-wheel-drive system. Built on the adaptable TNGA-K platform, also available for the Camry, Highlander, Avalon, RAV4, and the recently revealed Venza, the Sienna comes in five trim levels namely LE, XLE, XSE, Platinum, and Limited. The XSE is the sporty variant with black accents, a black mesh grille, and 20-inch wheels.
The 2021 Toyota Sienna gets its power from a 2.5L four-cylinder engine assisted by two electric motors (three for the all-wheel-drive variant). The system creates 243 horsepower and delivers up to 33 miles per gallon fuel economy. There are four driving modes EV, Normal, Eco, and Sport, with the latter optimizing the drive for extra oomph.
The interior comes equipped with a standard 9.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa compatibility, along with a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster. There are a number of optional advanced features for different trims.
The 2021 Sienna also boasts Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, thus includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane departure alert with steering assist, road sign assist, and automatic high beams.
The 2021 Toyota Sienna will hit the roads this summer. The pricing details are unknown yet but we know the 2020 model costs $31,640. Seeing the improvements, the new minivan should cost more than the outgoing model.
