Last month, we shared details on the 2021 Chevy Traverse, as it got its mid-cycle update featuring “improved exterior design, renewed interior features, fresh tech, and more standard active-safety facilities.” We were very excited to see this SUV hit the roads before the end of this year but that will not happen now.
Chevrolet announced that the 2021 Chevy Traverse will not hit showrooms this year. Rather it will come next year as a 2022 model.
“The timing for the launch of the refreshed Chevrolet Traverse has been revised. It will now launch in the calendar year 2021 as a 2022 model. We will share more details as we get closer to launch.”
Although the company didn’t reveal when exactly they will roll it out next year, our good guess is the first quarter of the next year. However, that’s just a prediction and only the time will tell.
The updated Traverse has upped its tech game by introducing a more broad range of driver-assist systems. We are talking about automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, front pedestrian braking, forward collision warning, and lane-keep assist with lane departure warning. The features like new seating options, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8.0-inch driver information display, a panoramic sunroof, USB charging ports throughout the cabin, and best-in-class cargo volume are some other features which make it a desirable SUV.
Chevrolet didn’t reveal the prices before, so we have to wait for several months to know these details. However, the 2020 model is available at AED 130,000 in the UAE
