The Swedish automaker Koenigsegg has been working very hard from the last few years on its two best supercar offerings, the world’s first Mega-GT, four-seat, Gemera and the automaker’s fastest ever supercar, Jesko Absolut. While we were eagerly waiting to see them on stage at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, we were very disappointed hearing the show was canceled. However, that didn’t stop the automaker to roll these beauties on a test track to show their automotive awesomeness.

Gemera

This Koenigsegg Gemera sporting a combination of dark gray and hint of green poses with nine-spoke wheels with lively yellow centers. Inside, it features an exciting yellow color with black accents and carbon fiber materials. The plug-in hybrid supercar carries a turbocharged three-cylinder 2.0L engine assisted by three electric motors to generate a whopping 1,700 horsepower and 3,500 Newton-meters of torque. The four-seat hybrid can hit 100 kilometers per hour in just 1.9 seconds. On pure electric mode, it can cover 50 kilometers (31 miles). The automaker plans to develop 300 units of this Mega-GT.

Jesko Absolut

The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut shows the brilliance of the automaker’s engineers who spent day and night to make it the best car the automaker has ever produced. They consumed 3,000 hours on fluid dynamics (CFD) and aerodynamics analysis, more than 5,000 hours on design and engineering. The result is the world’s potential fastest production car boasting a 5.0L V8 engine – the world’s lightest V8 crankshaft. The engine can pump out 1,280 hp and 1,000 Nm on normal gasoline and 1600 hp and 1,500 Nm of torque when fed on E85.

With only 1,320 kilograms (2,910 pounds) of weight and the drag coefficient of 0.278, we are seeing a hypercar that can hit 532 km/h (330mph), provided that there is a road big enough to let him stretch its legs completely.
