The 2020 LC is a graceful vehicle; there is no doubt about that. However, the 2021 Lexus LC is even more charming thanks to the new color shades, new wheel choices, and a little performance upgrade. Do not confuse the performance upgrade with more power; it may just be a tick faster because of its lower weight.

That said, the weight reduction isn’t much. Lexus only managed to shed 22 pounds of weight by primarily making changes in the suspension system. Other changes include fresh aluminum control arms, new suspension stabilizers, and lighter 21-inch wheels.

The suspension tweaks are made by improving rear stabilizer rigidity through the alteration of electronic absorber controls. Lexus also added Active Cornering Assist for better control on turns.

Drivers of the 2021 LC 500h will get better performance upgrades as they now can hold gears a little longer when they push the throttle hard.

The two new exterior paint options include Cadmium Orange and Nori Green Pearl while the Flare Red leather is now gone, swapped by Rioja Red. Customers will also not be able to order bespoke white leather. The new LC also comes equipped with standard Android Auto, for the first time.

Expect the 2021 Lexus LC to hit the dealerships in the last quarter of this year. The pricing details aren’t revealed yet but we know the 2020 model starts at AED 395,000.
