The German automaker has launched the 2021 Audi RS7 in America with exceptional power and improved driving dynamics. In fact, it is the most powerful A7 model ever produced and as evident, it comes with a hefty price tag of $114,000 (excluding taxes and destination charge).
What makes the 2021 RS7 so powerful is a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 pumping out 591 horsepower and 800 Newton-meters of torque. The engine gets help from a 48-volt electrical system, as well.
Hit the pedal hard and the new RS7 will take you to 100 km/h mark in only 3.6 seconds. Motor1 says it can do better in acceleration in specific conditions. That’s an incredible speed for a four-door coupe seating up to five passengers. The top speed is limited to 250 km/h in the regular version but those who want an extra oomph can choose the Dynamic and Dynamic Plus packages. The best you can get opting one of these is 305 km/h.
With big power comes the big responsibility for the break and tires. The 2021 Audi RS7 offers optional ceramic brakes with red or grey contrasting calipers and an adaptable air suspension with controlled damping. For an improved driving experience, there are drive modes and options to change the drive settings via the Audi Drive Select System.
