If you are someone in Europe who missed Honda Civic Type R (CTR) just because you hated its big wing, there is a pleasant surprise for you. The Japanese automaker has introduced the 2020 Honda Civic Type R Sport Line featuring a sizable spoiler instead of the massive wing. However, fans in America should not get too excited, as Honda has no plans to offer it for the U.S. markets.

The new Civic Type R Sport Line looks fabulous with 19-inch wheels and V-shaped spokes. The automaker is using the Michelin Pilot Sports 4S as well as a sound deadening tech at the back to minimize sound, vibration, and roughness in the cabin.

Another thing that Honda abandoned is the red trim. The automaker is now offering the CTR in a new Racing Blue paint color, as well.

The interior is updated with new seats featuring black upholstery and red stitching. The steering wheel sports Alcantara.

The 2020 Honda Civic Type R Sport Line carries the same 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that is available in the standard CTR. It creates 315 horsepower (European models) or 306 hp (American models). The engine pairs with only a six-speed manual transmission.

The automaker did not reveal the price of the Sport Line.
