Toyota has readied a number of offerings for the Geneva Auto Show including the second-generation Mirai, RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid, the GR Yaris, the Supra 2.0, as well as a small crossover SUV that they call B-SUV. The company says they have “blended extensive small car experience with enviable SUV heritage.”

According to the recent teaser image, Toyota has released, we can safely say that it is a hybrid car featuring an all-wheel-drive layout. The Blue Toyota badge also signifies it has an electrified powertrain.

Considering the previous illustration the company revealed (shown above), the B-SUV has a very flat roofline. Toyota has tried to make this small crossover more practical than the stylish C-HR. It means we can expect more room inside both for the passengers as well as for the luggage. The B-SUV will sit below the C-HR and due to its longer wheelbase and off-road-ready elements, it will not only be taller, longer and wider than the new Yaris but will also be a more capable machine in different driving conditions.

Toyota says the B-SUV is “an entirely new and distinctive B-SUV model” boasting a “compact, dynamic design and a personality of its own,” which means we should not mix it as a crossover version of Yaris. Yes, the GR Yaris would also be built on the TNGA-B platform and house a 1.5L gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain, but the B-SUV has some features that give it a unique identity.

All these cars are bound for the European markets. For more details, we have to wait for the 2020 Geneva Motor Show. Stay tuned to Motoraty!
