The German automaker introduced the 2020 Mercedes-Benz V-Class at the Dubai Motor Show boasting advanced safety features, better front styling, and improved interior. To make driving safer, Mercedes offers two optional safety features – Active Brake Assist and HighBeam Assist Plus. The former activates as it senses a collision with a vehicle ahead. It alerts the driver through a sign on the dashboard and voice. If the driver fails to respond and does not break, the system applies brakes independently and adequately.

The optional HighBeam Assist Plus works best for the oncoming traffic because it partly disables the LEDs of the main beam to prevent glaring other motorists.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz V-Class comes standard with Attention Assist, which keeps an eye on driver’s attentiveness on the road. When they become drowsy, the system alerts them and finally applies brakes if needed.

The new V-Class will be available in STANDARD, AVANTGARDE, EXCLUSIVE, and AMG grades. The latter sports a new diamond radiator grille with chrome pins. Customers will not only have the option to choose new colors for the exterior but can also pick from six different upholsteries in light and dark shades.

The 2020 Mercedes-Benz V-Class carries a 2.0L in-line four-cylinder turbo that creates 211 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. The van can hit 100 km/h in 9.4 seconds. The top speed is limited to 210 km/h.

No words on the pricing yet, however, we know that the 2019 Mercedes V-Class starts at AED 183,500. Therefore, expect a price higher than this.
